Our programmes

Integrated work for people, communities and the environment

NISD's work is organised into standing programme areas. Each one combines practical delivery in communities with the documentation that lets the result be checked.

Environment and Climate Action

Tree planting, waste management, conservation and community awareness work to restore land and reduce pollution.

  • Restore forest cover and biodiversity through planting native species
  • Reduce plastic pollution on coastlines and in communities
